We were informed this evening of Steve Kossler's passing. Mr. Kossler had been a very active member during his years here at SRCA. Condolences are extended to his family. Please check your local newspaper for further information.

By now I'm sure many of you know that Jay Hughes, long time security guard for the campground, died suddenly on April 30th. On the morning of June 6 there will be a ceremony at the Grove City Airport, where (as per Jay's wishes) his ashes will be released from a plane. Jay was very active in Sky Diving. There will be a family
memorial celebration of his life Saturday evening. Further informatiion on the Saturday evening event, will follow at a later date.

We have been notified of the recent passing of Ruth Rumbaugh, sister of Betty Lou Corbin. Ruth was a long time member of SRCA and relocated to Altoona to be near family. Those of us who knew both Ruth and Betty Lou will remember the two riding the golf cart through the campground on a daily basis. They were always together! Our sympathy to Betty Lou and family.

We were informed today that Frances Sweitzer (lot D394) died on September 2lst. Our sympathy to her family. She has been a member here at the campground since 1996. She will be missed by many bingo friends and campers.

Sad to hear of the death of long-time camper and friend, Donna Henderson (A263). Donna died on Wednesday, Sept. 10th. To all of us who knew her and Bill, they were the neighbor and caretaker of Yogi Bear. They always made sure Yogi's basket was full. Our sympathy goes to her husband Bill and family. Viewing will be Friday, Sept. 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. Blessing service will be private.

Electric Project Phase 3 - Sections A & C

The final phase of the electric upgrade project is sheduled to begin on Sept 8, 2014 in the A & C sections. The digging will start at the Rec center and proceed up Jellystone Ave and down Butterfly Blvd. When that portion is completed, the digging will proceed from lot to lot thru the A section to connect to each transformer. Each lot owner affected has received a letter. This option was chosen to keep the cost as low as possible.

We are looking for volunteers to help paint the pool! Summer will be here soon and it's time to get the pool ready for Memorial Day week-end! The pool has been drained of all water and the maintenance crew will soon be sandblasting in preparation for painting. So, if you are able, available, willing and love to paint, please call the Office (724-728-0402) and give them your name. Tentative dates are May 3 and May 4.

My prayers go out to the Ginny and Norma on the passing of my dear friend, neighbor and long time member Norman Meyer who passed away today. He was such a loving person. Everyone loved him. I know I will miss our visits. Hugs to you Norman.
