Death of a Long-time camper. Nancy Halfhill (D164) passed away Monday, evening April 8th. Nancy was one of the "Original" Hand & Foot Card Players (she and her husband have been members of SRCA since l986) After speaking with Rich, he has informed me there will be no viewing. A decision as to a future memorail service, is pending. Our deepest sympathy to Rich and his family.

Death of camping friend Saddened to hear of the death of Richard (Dick) Shannon of D174. Sympathy is extended to his wife, Della and brother-in-law, Ralph Deemer (D151). Viewing will be at the Vaia Funeral Home in Delmont, Tuesday evening, Wednesday afternoon and evening. Funeral on Thursday at 11:00 AM.

Death of Long-time Bingo "Friend" Sorry to hear of the death of Emma Mainhart. Emma has been a loyal "bingo buddy" for many years. Her husband, Don would always make sure he got her to camp in time to play Bingo. Emma "went to be with the Lord" on Friday, May 24th. Viewing will be 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, May 26th at Duster Funeral Home, 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum. Services will be ll:00 AM Tuesday, in First United Presbyterian Church, Tarentum.

Death of long-time camper and friend We are saddened to report that Diane Panaia (D103) has passed away today (11/21) There will be no viewing or services. Please keep Joe in your prayers. Death of long-time camper and friend Sad to hear of the death of long-time camper and friend, Donna Henderson (A263). Donna died on Wednesday, Sept. 10th. To all of us who knew her and Bill, they were the neighbor and caretaker of Yogi Bear. They always made sure Yogi's basket was full. Our sympathy goes to her husband Bill and family. Viewing will be Friday, Sept. 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. Blessing service will be private.

Death of Camping Friend We were informed today that Frances Sweitzer (lot D394) died on September 2lst. Our sympathy to her family. She has been a member here at the campground since 1996. She will be missed by many bingo friends and campers.

Death of former SRCA Member We have been notified of the recent passing of Ruth Rumbaugh, sister of Betty Lou Corbin. Ruth was a long time member of SRCA and relocated to Altoona to be near family. Those of us who knew both Ruth and Betty Lou will remember the two riding the golf cart through the campground on a daily basis. They were always together! Our sympathy to Betty Lou and family.

Death of Former Campground Security Guard By now I'm sure many of you know that Jay Hughes, long time security guard for the campground, died suddenly on April 30th. On the morning of June 6 there will be a ceremony at the Grove City Airport, where (as per Jay's wishes) his ashes will be released from a plane. Jay was very active in Sky Diving. There will be a family
memorial celebration of his life Saturday evening. Further informatiion on the Saturday evening event, will follow at a later date.

Death of Sandy Kalsey I am saddened to learn of the death of Sandy Kalsey (A012). Sandy died today, October 24th. I did not know Sandy very well, but I do know she brought many smiles to the audience in her performances with the Yogi Group. She was a special person. I spoke with her family today. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 29th at the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. The time has not been determined -- possibly in the afternoon. Death of Mrs. Kovach - D299 Sad to hear of the death of Mrs. Kovach. She was an active supporter of the Bingo Program here at the campground. Death of Vince Maggio We are sad to learn of the passing of Vince Maggio (A70). As indicated in the Pgh newspaper, Vince passed on January 22nd at his home. Viewing will be Thursday 6-8 and Friday 2-4 and 6-8, with Mass on Saturday at 9:30 AM - St. Margaret Mary Church, Moon Township. Our condolences to his daughters Terry and Kimberly.

Death of Camping Friend - "Bill" Hinchberger (D84) Saddened to hear of the death of Bill Hinchberger. Bill passed away on Saturday, February 4th at his home in Florida. I have no further information at this time. Bill and his wife took care of the flowers at the entrance to the campground. He was always willing to give a "helping hand" to anyone who needed one. Our prayers are with Linda and family.

Death of Camper's son We have been saddened to learn of the death of Jason Herrle, son of Arlene and Tom Felicion (C171). There will be visitation with the family on Wednesday, March 22nd from 2:00 pm until time of the Blessing Service at 7:30 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, 1718 Brownsville Road. Passing of Barbara Moore Sad to hear of the passing of Barb Moore. Our prayers are with her husband Bill and family. For many years Barb was an active member of our campground -- serving as Board Secretary as well as on many committees. Barb passed on Friday, June 22nd. A Celebration of Life will be held at Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday July 14th at 2:00 PM. The address for the church is 121 Ivy Street, Weirton, WVA 26062. The family suggests Memorial Donations be made to the Church.

Death of camping friend- Betty Lou Corbin Received a call from Lisa, Betty Lou's daughter, that she had died. For all of us who knew Betty Lou, she had been a loyal Bingo player and enjoyed her many friends and neighbors. Betty and her husband lived in Viera, Florida in recent years. Lisa informed me there will be no viewing, etc. until a later time. Our prayers go to Betty's family, Dick, Lisa and Mark.

Death of former member - Bill Moore The family has informed friends here at the campground that Bill Moore died Wednesday October 3rd. For those who did not have the pleasure of knowing Bill, he volunteered his time as Board President,Treasurer, Secretary, and various Committee Chairperson throughout his years at SRCA. Bill enjoyed playing Bingo and the Sunday evening poker games with all the men. Viewing will be at the Steele and Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WVA from 2-4 PM on Saturday, October 6th. The funeral service and celebration of life will be held immediately following at the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church. Refreshments will be served following the service.
