DEATH OF A CAMPER	Joan M. Gruntz is also the mother of Patty Zilch lot#C085. Friends welcome at Beinhauers from noon to 8pm Wednesday at 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont - 412-531-4000. A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday in Hilltop Baptist Church, Banksville Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.

Passing of a fellow camper	Pat Delligatti of B246A passed away on February 22 at her home. Pat is better know as "Computer Pat" and was willing to help you out any time you had a computer problem. She will be missed by her neighbors, friends and her "Bingo Buddies".

Electric Upgrade Project	The Electric project is complete. Power is on throughout the campground. All transformers have been tested and are functioning. One transformer, located adjacent to lot D238, had to be replaced with a new transformer and Panel Box. Hartman excavating will be coming back around the end of May, after the weather improves, to repair and fix any lots or sunken areas. The final cost cannot be determined until all bills are received, but the assessment notices should be mailed sometime in May. This project was an enormous undertaking and the Board Members greatly appreciate your understanding, cooperation and patience.

Pool	No, we do not know for sure if the pool problem has been fixed. We are opening the pool early this year so we can perform tests to see if the Electricity to the pool has been eliminated. Preliminary tests have been promising but we cannot have a definitive answer until the pool is operating.

Memorial Weekend Activities	All activities are scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon. Unfortunately the Golf Cart Olympics has been cancelled. All other events will take place as originally planned.

New Part-time Office Employee	Bety Jo Jones has been hired as a part-time employee to help out in the Office. Betty Jo started on June 12 and will be working Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and will also help out on Holiday weekends. Please stop by the Office to say Hello.

Halloween party	The 2014 Annual Halloween Party tickets will be available starting Saturday, August 30, at the office. The party will be on October 11, from 7 to 10. Ticket prices are $2.00 each.

Electric Project Phase 3 - Sections A & C	The final phase of the electric upgrade project is sheduled to begin on Sept 8, 2014 in the A & C sections. The digging will start at the Rec center and proceed up Jellystone Ave and down Butterfly Blvd. When that portion is completed, the digging will proceed from lot to lot thru the A section to connect to each transformer. Each lot owner affected has received a letter. This option was chosen to keep the cost as low as possible.

Passing of Karen Stewart	The Slippery Rock Campground has been notified of the passing of Karen Stewart . Karen passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019. Services will be Wednesday, May 22 from 6 to 8 PM. Thursday, May 23 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Also, Friday, May 24 from 9:30 AM until time of services at 10:30 AM. She will be layed out at Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home, 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa, PA. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. edited by SRCA on 5/21/2019
