Loss of fellow Camper	We lost a fantastic woman, a dedicated camper and a loving individual. Mrs Franklin should be remembered for her strength during her battle. She always had a smile and kind word, never once showing a weakness. To the Franklin family, my sincerest thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Know she was loved by many. CATCH AND KEEP THE TROUT. KIDS FISHING CLINIC	Hello Everyone, Well camping season is closing in and we are really excited about this years events. On April 20th we will be having and Fishing Clinic for Kids 15 years of age and under. What is so exciting is that Recreation and Youth have split the cost of placing Trout in our front main pond The Trout will vary in size and color. The kids will be taught how to bait, catch, remove and clean (if needed) fish. Not only is it fun and relaxing but removing fish is very important during the season as our ponds are catch and release. The fun part of the Trout in April is that they get to KEEP the trout. As we know Trout only survive in colder water so it is important to get them all out. April 20th is a Saturday and any left over trout can be caught by any camper on Sunday. Yes this is catch and keep also. We ask that you please limit yourself to 3 fish per day. Saturday is an all day event so please bring your kids up to camp to enjoy the day. CATCH AND KEEP THE TROUT. KIDS FISHING CLINIC	I am so glad she enjoyed herself. I do believe it was a success, I want to take time to THANK JOHN MIHALIK. Such a great idea, hot or cold I do believe it is a great way to start the season. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU and thanks so everyone who came out to enjoy the event.

UP COMING 2013 RECREATION SEASON	Well we are finally here, 2013 has officially started. The fishing contest and the auction were a huge success. We are still fighting some major battles right now which may result in event changes but we all know that Slippery Rock Campgrounds will succeed. If there is anybody who has any ideas or know people in the public offices of PA., please let me know. We as a group united must stand together at this time. Let me know via this wall or drop a note in my mailbox at the office. We will have many new bands this year so please pick up a schedule and enjoy the upcoming events.

Teen Dance/events?	Unfortunately "the teens" have been struggling due to the vast age difference in the park. If you are interested. please contact the youth committee as this does not fall under recreation.

Death of long-time camper and friend	Diane was always active even when her illness was holding her back. She will be missed by many. Please know we have Joe in our prayers and God Rest her soul. Diane rest in peace..

April 26 2014 Kids Trout Fishing	Looking forward to the Kids Trout Fishing and YES lets hope for a little better weather. This is the second year for the event and with all the weather elements from last year and the success we had for it, this year should be an even bigger and better event. Bring your kids, enjoy some coffee/hot chocolate and the thrill of catching some very beautiful fish to KEEP. Looking forward to this John and THANK YOU.

Ruth Jarrett	Please keep Chuck Jarrett and his family in your prayers as his wife Ruth passed away 9/18/17. Details will be in the Post. Viewing on Thursday with service Friday morning. Though they just sold their lot recently in D section, they always kept in contact with many... May God bless them all during this difficult time
